1 review for THE CHILDREN’S CAMPUS @ FABER HILLS

This centre is pretty new, started only in end 2016. It is at the cul-de-sac corner terrace, with a big garden for kids to runaround and nicely renovated interior. It is walking distance for me from the Infiniti condo, since there is a connecting bridge across AYE. I have a friend who moved to the Trilinq and asked me to check this place out. When i visited, the Centre Manager, Kamy Ong, was quite pleasant and smiley.. She introduced me to their play-based “Joyful Learning” curriculum, which has a monthly theme. It is a bilingual program, and uses a learn-through-play concept, so kids don’t have to worry about homework. Everything is learnt during their time in the preschool. One of the interesting aspects is that the preschool believes in building character skills for long term success, not just academics. Another interesting point is the teaching of STEM, coding and robotics as an enrichment, and also in their curriculum. The preschool does this without the use of screen devices, which i think it good. They have some cool teaching tools from USA for that. Kids already use too much iPhone and iPads at home anyway.
There were a several expat kids around, even though this school is geared for normal local primary school integration. The student teacher ratio is also very small, like 1-4 for tods, or 1-8 for bigger kids.

Overall, I like the place, worth checking out for parents living in Clementi and West Coast area.
